Commercial Manager

We're looking for a Commercial Manager for a public sector organisation, based in Wiltshire (hybrid), on an initial 12-month contract, paying up to £527 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella).

This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office in Wiltshire around two to three days per week, flexing with business needs.

The successful Commercial Manager will manage commercial activity across infrastructure works and hard and soft facilities management. You'll run NEC contracts end to end, manage communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and make sure programmes and projects deliver to time, cost and quality.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

NEC contracting (ECC and PSC), with recent NEC3/4 experience from the last three to four years (NEC4 preferred)

Public Contract Regulations and Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations

Commercial delivery across infrastructure works and hard and soft facilities management

A background in one or more of construction, estates or facilities

Managing supplier and stakeholder communication and priorities

Public sector experience would be beneficial.

Defence sector experience, MCIPS or equivalent, public sector procurement experience and familiarity with the Procurement Act 2023 would all be a bonus.

You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
