Job Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Contribute to organic social media strategy across key platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit), including narratives, content sourcing (UGC), and copywriting, with a focus on real-time relevance, cultural fluency and GEO.
- Manage social media content calendars, ensuring seamless cross-functional team alignment while leaving room for reactive, trend-driven content.
- Keep brand social media guidelines up to date, including a "trend response" framework/tone-of-voice guardrails so the brand can move quickly and confidently on trending topics.
- Monitor and adapt to platform algorithm changes, feature updates, and best practices, with particular attention to how trends and virality mechanics evolve on each platform.
- Identify and test emerging content opportunities and formats that are native to the social platforms, prioritizing early adoption of trending formats, sounds, memes, and challenges relevant to the brand.
- Build agility into content calendars, balancing planned content with flexibility to react quickly to trends, memes, and cultural moments as they emerge.
- Create content for native platforms using internal content creation resources, AI, and graphic design tools, with an emphasis on fast-turnaround, trend-responsive content.
- Proactively engage in brand-relevant conversations, cultural moments, and trending content daily, identifying, evaluating, and executing timely brand participation where appropriate.
- Manage conversation routing rules and customer care workflows in Sprinklr across markets, ensuring timely, consistent responses.
- Analyze organic content performance to extract data-driven insights, optimizing social media strategies and ROI using Sprinklr & Dash Social.
- Track the performance of trend-jacking and cultural-moment content specifically, to refine future response strategy and understand what resonates with each platform's audience.
- Report on response time and engagement lift from trend/cultural participation
- Collaborate with country teams for global relevance and local resonance, including flagging trends and cultural moments that may have cross-market applicability.
- Partner with top markets to highlight online retailer and creator opportunities on global channels.
- 1-3 years of experience in Social Media, Content, Communications, or Marketing (digital and copywriting experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and consumer insights, with the ability to translate these into content that resonates across diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Canva or similar social/graphic design tools; Mac proficiency
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines
- Solid quantitative/data analysis skills to inform content and strategy decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and take initiative
- Genuine passion for beauty, social media, and content creation
