Growth Marketing Manager
Mural GroupOverview
Mural is partnering with a fast-growing performance bicycle brand to find their first Growth Marketing Manager in the US. The brand launched in April 2026 backed by one of the world's largest bicycle manufacturers. They have a full lineup across road, gravel, city, fitness, and e-bike, a pro team sponsorship at the highest level of the sport, and a dealer network expanding across the country. The US team is about 15 people in Santa Monica and moving fast.
This is the first dedicated growth marketing hire on the US team. There is no playbook. You are building the engine.
What the role actually is
You will own growth marketing for the US market: paid digital, email, organic social, content, SEO, influencer and community partnerships, and dealer co-marketing support. You work alongside the Head of Sales and Head of Design to drive consumer awareness, dealer demand, and brand credibility in a category where trust is built through community and product quality -- not just ad spend.
You will also be the connective tissue between US marketing execution and the international marketing team. Some of what you build will align with global brand direction. Most of it you will be figuring out for the US market on your own.
What the right candidate looks like
You have run growth marketing at a brand where the product genuinely matters to the people buying it -- cycling, outdoor, run, action sports, or consumer hardware. You understand enthusiast audiences and know how to market to them without losing authenticity. You are hands-on: you have run paid campaigns yourself, written copy, pulled performance reports, and made spend decisions based on what the data actually showed.
You have built or managed an email program end to end. You have worked with athletes, ambassadors, or influencers in a way that moved the needle beyond impressions. You know the difference between activity metrics and the ones that tie to revenue, and you track both.
Cycling industry experience or genuine cultural fluency in the sport is a real advantage here. This brand is backing a pro team, building through independent bike shops, and earning credibility with riders who know the difference. If you know that world, your ramp time is shorter and your instincts are sharper.
