Compensation: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience

This role sits at the intersection of customer engagement, e-commerce, creative storytelling, and brand development, with a primary focus on email and SMS/MMS marketing.

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and optimization of customer communications across email and SMS/MMS channels. This role will also support content creation, graphic design, social media, campaign development, and broader marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, schedule, and optimize email and SMS/MMS campaigns, including audience segmentation, testing, personalization, QA, and performance analysis.
  • Support the development and execution of automated and lifecycle marketing programs designed to increase engagement, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Create and adapt on-brand digital content and creative assets for email, social media, web, and other marketing channels.
  • Support social media content planning, creation, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, partnerships, and other initiatives across teams, ensuring deliverables and deadlines stay on track.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to translate campaign concepts and marketing strategies into customer-facing communications and creative assets.
  • Monitor campaign and channel performance and use data and insights to identify opportunities for testing and optimization.
  • Assist with website and e-commerce marketing updates, including product launches, promotions, landing pages, and other customer-facing content.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across copy, creative, links, offers, segmentation, and campaign setup.
  • Help maintain organized marketing calendars, campaign assets, and project documentation.

Key Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing, lifecycle marketing, content creation, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience planning, creating, and executing email and/or SMS/MMS marketing campaigns, including segmentation, scheduling, testing, QA, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with an email marketing, CRM, or marketing automation platform. Experience with Klaviyo, DotDigital, MailChimp, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Working proficiency with graphic design and content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to translate marketing strategies and campaign concepts into engaging, on-brand content across multiple channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Ability to use performance data and insights to identify opportunities, test ideas, and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with creative, sales, product, e-commerce, and marketing teams.
  • Portfolio showcasing recent examples of digital marketing, content creation, email, social media, graphic design, or other relevant marketing work.
  • Experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, or other digital marketing and analytics platforms is a plus.

  • Hourly Position $25-$30/hour depending on experience.
