The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious international automotive brand looking for a commercially minded and hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to lead its digital marketing activity across the UK.
This is a key role within the marketing team, responsible for developing and executing digital strategies that build brand awareness, generate high-quality leads and support customer conversion.
You'll take ownership across paid media, SEO/SEM, CRM, website performance, social advertising, analytics and digital optimisation, working closely with internal teams, retailers, creative partners and agencies to deliver measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies aligned with overall brand and product objectives.
- Plan, manage and optimise digital advertising and lead generation campaigns across paid search, display, social media, programmatic, affiliates, automotive publishers and retargeting.
- Lead SEO and SEM strategy to increase organic visibility, website traffic and customer acquisition.
- Manage website content, performance, UX and conversion optimisation, working closely with developers and creative teams.
- Oversee digital campaigns across platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Develop and manage CRM, email marketing and marketing automation initiatives to support lead nurturing and conversion.
- Work closely with PR, social, retail, creative and brand teams to deliver integrated and consistent campaigns.
- Analyse campaign performance using GA4, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager and other digital analytics platforms.
- Develop regular performance reports, identify insights and make data-led recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of spend and strong return on investment.
- Monitor competitor activity, automotive trends, consumer behaviour and emerging digital platforms to identify opportunities for growth.
- Work with external agencies and technology partners to ensure high-quality campaign delivery and optimisation.
- Ensure digital activity complies with relevant advertising standards, privacy requirements and data protection regulations, including GDPR.
About You
- 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, performance marketing or a related discipline within the automotive sector
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, paid social, programmatic, display, email and lead generation.
- Proven experience managing paid media campaigns and working with performance marketing agencies or partners.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4 and digital analytics platforms.
- Experience managing website CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal or similar.
- Understanding of CRM, email marketing and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Mailchimp.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Commercially and analytically minded, with a strong understanding of KPIs, attribution, conversion rates, customer acquisition and ROI.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with creative, PR, retail, technology and external agency teams.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and other emerging marketing technologies is advantageous.
- Proactive, commercially focused and hands-on, with the ability to combine strategic thinking with strong execution.
