Job Description

As an E-commerce Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding and optimizing our online retail performance. You will be responsible for analyzing vast datasets related to customer behavior, sales trends, website traffic, and marketing campaigns to identify opportunities for growth and improvement across our various e-commerce platforms. Your insights will directly inform strategic decisions, enhance the customer journey, and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth analysis of e-commerce data, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer demographics.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting on e-commerce performance.
Identify trends, patterns, and insights to optimize website functionality, product merchandising, and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to implement data-driven recommendations.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
Perform A/B testing and analyze results to improve user experience and conversion.
Research market trends and competitor activities to inform e-commerce strategy.

Required Skills

Proficiency in e-commerce analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with SQL for data querying.
Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
Previous experience in a large retail or consumer goods e-commerce environment.
Understanding of SEO/SEM principles.
