Job Summary of Digital Coach

This leadership role involves driving team success and operational excellence by coaching, training, and engaging associates. The position focuses on optimizing store performance, delivering exceptional customer service, managing financial results, and fostering a culture of integrity and inclusion.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Digital Coach

  • Lead and develop teams by providing training, coaching, and feedback while collaborating across all levels to support store operations and company initiatives.
  • Model and uphold superior customer service standards, addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and implementing improvements to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Manage financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements, controlling expenses, overseeing merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and executing action plans to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Supervise hourly associates through recruitment, training, mentoring, assignment of duties, and performance management while promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Coordinate operational activities by maintaining relationships with stakeholders, supporting business goals, identifying improvement opportunities, and adapting to change.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards, supporting open communication and ethical business practices.
  • Foster a workplace culture that values individuality, supports collaboration, and empowers associates to thrive.
  • Promote accountability, continuous learning, and the adoption of new technologies to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience of Digital Coach

  • Minimum of two years of college education; or one year of retail experience combined with one year of supervisory experience; or two years of general work experience with one year of supervisory experience.
  • Completion of all required trainings and assessments relevant to the position.
  • For locations selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific criminal background check and authorized training is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.

Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 plus applicable differentials based on location and other factors. Additional performance bonuses and compensation premiums may be available.
