Digital Video Editor

Position Summary

The Digital Video Editor reports directly to the Senior Producer, Digital and works collaboratively with the Director of Marketing. This position focuses on editing, optimizing, and publishing existing content for maximum effectiveness across digital platforms including, but not limited to, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Responsibilities

• Adapt existing video content to maximize effective and achieve desired outcomes
• Clip long-form content into shorter videos for on Social Media
• Adapt video content for publication in 9x16 (portrait video)
• Report on Social Video reach and effectiveness including progress toward KPI targets
• Manage and continually optimize existing YouTube content library
• Version and adapt video ads for use on other advertising platforms (like CTV)
• Design high-quality YouTube thumbnails
• Work with outside vendors to continually stay up to date on best practices and strategies
• Take direction from the Digital Marketing Manager to launch paid YouTube video campaigns

Qualifications and Experience

• One to three years of video production experience required.
• Has a foundational knowledge of the production process and technical equipment.
• Proficiency with video editing software (Resolve, Adobe CC, Avid, etc.).
• Proficiency with graphic design software (Adobe CC, Cinema 4D, Fusion, etc.)
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
• Basic knowledge of the Google Ads platform.
• Must be an organized, detail-oriented, and highly productive person.
• Must be an independent self-starter that produces high quality content on a deadline.
• Able to receive constructive criticism and direction from producers, directors and project leads.
• Must be willing and able to lift/push/pull equipment weighing 50 lbs.

• Position is non-exempt, full-time at Turning Point International Headquarters in Lakeside, CA
• The expected salary for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 an hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, and location. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package.

• We believe God endows all human life with inherent dignity at every stage of development and it must be respected and protected from conception to natural death. Thus, the unjustified, intentional taking of human life before or after birth is sinful and offensive to God.
