Overview
Seeking a Digital Manufacturing Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of digital and IT projects within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on implementing digital products, system integrations, and paperless operations to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Coordination: Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to meet business objectives. Lead MES and IT projects from initiation to completion, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and systems integration.
- Resource Management: Allocate team resources effectively based on skills and availability.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including scope changes, technical challenges, and resource constraints. Develop contingency plans to maintain momentum.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and key metrics. Engage stakeholders to align expectations and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Oversight: Ensure governance compliance, maintain accountability, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management; MES project experience is a plus.
- Proficient in SDLC, Agile tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet), and PMI project management methodology.
- Strong experience in digital product development, IT infrastructure, and managing multiple technical projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experienced in cross-functional team collaboration and driving project alignment.
