2. About the Opportunity:

The Social Media Specialist role focuses on managing and growing the organization''s social media presence across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. This position is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, building communities, and establishing an affiliate and influencer program to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and drive business growth.

3. Responsibilities:

• Create and post daily engaging video content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
• Build and engage user communities on platforms including Reddit and Facebook
• Develop and manage an affiliate and influencer program to acquire new customers
• Monitor and respond to social media interactions through social listening
• Optimize and manage the YouTube channel

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree
• At least 2 years of social media management experience in edtech or technology, preferably in a startup environment
• Proven success growing accounts on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Experience with influencers or affiliate marketing is advantageous
• Personal social media following is a plus
• Industry or imaging experience is beneficial
• Ability to apply strategic guidance and iterate based on engagement metrics
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for capturing customer testimonials

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The full-time annual salary range is $50,000 to $70,400, excluding bonuses or sales incentives
• Individual compensation depends on experience, qualifications, business needs, and local market factors
• Most full-time employees are eligible for incentive bonuses or sales plans
