ORIANE 1986

ORIANE 1986 is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Manager of E-Commerce & Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing luxury womenswear brand. This is a highly cross-functional role spanning e-commerce, merchandising, inventory management, wholesale operations, logistics, warehouse coordination, and digital marketing.

The ideal candidate is both operational and creative, with a strong understanding of luxury fashion and the ability to manage multiple areas of the business simultaneously. This individual will work closely with the founder and external partners to ensure that the customer-facing brand experience and behind-the-scenes operations are executed seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • E-Commerce & Website Management: Own the day-to-day management of the ORIANE 1986 e-commerce site, including product setup and launches, product descriptions, imagery, collections, pricing, inventory, merchandising, and ongoing site updates. Maintain an elevated and cohesive digital experience across the website.
  • Digital Merchandising: Merchandise the website based on product launches, inventory, seasonality, sales performance, and marketing priorities. Monitor product performance and customer demand to inform product placement, features, and promotional strategy.
  • Product & Content Management: Coordinate e-commerce photography and product imagery, prepare assets for launches, manage product information, and ensure all product details and creative assets are accurate and consistent across channels.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory across e-commerce, wholesale, and warehouse systems. Monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, coordinate incoming inventory, and support allocation and replenishment decisions.
  • Warehouse & Fulfillment: Serve as the primary point of contact with the warehouse and fulfillment partners. Oversee order fulfillment, shipping, returns, exchanges, inventory transfers, and operational issues to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Wholesale Operations: Support wholesale accounts from order through fulfillment, including purchase orders, invoices, inventory allocation, shipping documentation, routing requirements, returns, consignment reconciliation, and account communication.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate domestic and international shipments across e-commerce, wholesale, press, influencer, and business needs. Manage shipping carriers and documentation and troubleshoot delivery or fulfillment issues.
  • ERP & Systems Management: Maintain product, inventory, order, and seasonal information within Zedonk and Shopify, ensuring data remains accurate and organized across systems.
  • Social Media & Digital Marketing: Support the planning and execution of social media and digital content, including content creation, product storytelling, launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Email Marketing: Support the development and execution of newsletters and customer communications, including product selection, merchandising, imagery, copy, and campaign coordination.
  • Influencer & PR Support: Coordinate product gifting, sample requests, influencer outreach, stylist requests, and shipments while tracking samples and inventory.
  • Customer Experience: Manage customer inquiries related to orders, shipping, returns, exchanges, product information, sizing, and other e-commerce needs while maintaining a high-touch luxury customer experience.
  • Cross-Functional Operations: Work directly with the founder and external partners across production, development, marketing, wholesale, logistics, and creative projects to support the needs of the business.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor e-commerce sales, product performance, inventory, and customer behavior to identify trends and provide insights that inform merchandising, marketing, and inventory decisions.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced emerging luxury brand where responsibilities frequently overlap. They should have strong attention to detail, an elevated visual sensibility, and the ability to balance creative brand considerations with operational execution.

Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and inventory/ERP systems is strongly preferred, along with experience in luxury fashion, e-commerce, merchandising, wholesale, or operations.
