  • *Position Summary**

We are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager, based at our North York Office. In this role, you will work with a dynamic team to strengthen, evolve, and grow a brand in a fast-paced category. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a deep understanding of brand building, harness your strategic and executional prowess, and become a category expert.

  • *A day in the life of an Assistant Marketing Manager**

As Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be working on a variety of projects across the portfolio. This role is a great opportunity to build strategic and fulsome recommendations, own and develop a product range, commercialize newly approved launches, and provide overall support to the team across various initiatives. You will be working daily with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with lots of autonomy and support to thrive.

You will also

  • Provide fact-based analytical data to support consumer and customer initiatives and to drive portfolio profitability and growth.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of key Innovation & Renovation projects, collaborating and influencing effectively across various stakeholders to execute with excellence
  • Manage all launch related initiatives and communication, including research, volume builds, packaging & product development, as well as launch presentations, sales kits and samples for sales
  • Manage packaging, pricing, promotional, merchandising and distribution strategies to support brand & category plans
  • Prepare and present monthly brand and competitive performance reviews vs. KPIs using available data tools such as AC Nielsen, to provide a complete understanding of category dynamics and business health
  • Support and in some instances lead team processes such as budget management & tracking and monthly priority status meetings
  • Leverage brand, consumer, and marketplace data to recommend marketing strategies, and activities for the 18 Month Brand Plan (aligned with 3 Year Brand Roadmap and learning from previous years)
  • Support and collaborate with internal team members and external stakeholders across various initiatives and high-profile launches
  • *What will make you successful**
  • University degree in Business or Marketing, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of marketing experience required. CPG experience is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of commercialization process within CPG with ability to leverage Nestlé processes, resources, and environment.
  • Self-motivated, results focused with strong analytical skills and curiosity.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinker.
  • Passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge status quo.
  • Must be able to manage change and evolve in a fast-paced dynamic and matrix environment.
