Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Senior Manager, ETMO Transformation Delivery is ideal for a results-oriented leader who thrives on turning strategy into action, navigating complex change, and delivering measurable impact across a global enterprise. This role drives the execution of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, serving as the bridge between strategy and delivery to ensure projects are completed with discipline, speed, and lasting value. Partnering across functions, the Senior Manager translates transformation priorities into actionable plans, oversees execution from initiation through sustainment, and ensures initiatives achieve their intended business outcomes.

Success in this role requires strong program and project management expertise, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and a relentless focus on delivery excellence. This role offers broad exposure across the enterprise, visibility with senior leadership, and the opportunity to drive meaningful, high-profile change.

Responsibilities

  • Drive enterprise transformation initiatives to completion, ensuring they deliver on scope, budget, and value commitments while aligning initiative delivery with enterprise transformation priorities and business strategies.
  • Implement and monitor delivery methodologies, frameworks, and standards ensuring consistent quality across all initiatives.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues, remove roadblocks, and ensure momentum is maintained throughout the initiative lifecycle.
  • Oversee smooth transitions from project delivery into business-as-usual operations, such as ensuring SOPs are updated, training plans are in place, and partnering with Change Management team on communications and adoption support.
  • Develop a scalable governance model that adapts to the needs of the organization, enabling efficient communication, streamlined reporting, and a clear escalation framework to support continuous transformation.

Performance & Value Delivery

  • Drive the execution of initiatives by working with Initiative Owners to define clear KPIs, success metrics, and milestones – e.g., establishing baseline performance data and identifying financial and operational impact measures.
  • Monitor progress rigorously and deliver timely reporting and dashboards to senior leadership on achievements, risks, and value realization.
  • Apply data-driven insights to optimize execution, resolve issues quickly, and ensure initiatives deliver intended outcomes. For example, conducting variance analysis identifying drivers of underperformance, and recommending course corrections.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders and enabling functions (Operations, Finance, HR, Technology, Creative, Entertainment, etc.) to coordinate initiative execution and influence outcomes without direct authority, such as aligning resource planning across functions or securing business sponsorship for critical milestones.
  • Facilitate clear, consistent communication between initiative teams and senior leadership to ensure alignment on purpose, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide Initiative Owners and Milestone Owners, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Champion diversity of thought, innovation, and professional growth within the transformation delivery team through regular feedback, learning sessions and peer recognition.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify needs and opportunities and develop effective communication strategies to provide timely status updates and progress reporting to senior leadership, such as coordinating with external consulting partners on initiative alignment or deliverables.

Planning & Resourcing

  • Support initiative planning, scheduling, and resource allocation in partnership with portfolio management, such as building integrated delivery roadmaps and resource plans across workstreams.
  • Ensure resources are effectively deployed across initiatives, balancing competing priorities while protecting delivery timelines to include tracking utilization, identifying capability gaps, and collaborating with HR and Finance on resourcing adjustments.

Other Duties

  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This role leads through influence, guiding initiative and milestone owners across functions without direct reports.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Technology, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in transformation, program management, or large-scale initiative delivery.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing complex, cross-functional initiatives in large organizations.
  • Experience with change management, performance tracking, and operationalization of strategic initiatives.
  • Proficiency with delivery methodologies preferred (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, PMI frameworks).

  • CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Preferred: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile (CSM), or other relevant certifications.

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
