Anita's is a proudly Canadian organic flour and baking brand with deep roots in craft milling, real food, and genuine care for the people who use our products. Now part of the Nature's Path family, we continue to nurture our unique brand identity — one built on trust, quality, and an authentic love of baking. This role is dedicated exclusively to Anita's — this brand will be your creative canvas, your craft, and your love-child. You'll work closely with Anita's founders and collaborate with the internal marketing team at Nature's Path — combining grassroots brand heart with the support of a world-class marketing organization.

This position is remote and based in the Greater Vancouver area, with travel to our Chilliwack location approximately once per month for in-person collaboration.

  • Own and evolve Anita's brand voice, personality, and storytelling
  • Create compelling content including product photography, lifestyle imagery, behind-the-scenes visuals, and written communication
  • Produce copy across digital channels — website, social media, newsletters, and packaging
  • Manage recipe content — development, editing, scheduling, publishing, and library maintenance

Digital Presence & Audience Engagement

  • Plan, create, and deploy content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and future platforms
  • Foster authentic community engagement — responding to comments, messages, and consumer questions
  • Support e-commerce presence and optimize Anita's performance on online retail platforms
  • Track performance and budget effectiveness for digital programs
  • Build relationships with retailers, influencers, partners, and aligned brands
  • Lead and support collaborations including giveaways, cross-promotions, and co-marketing
  • Identify and execute brand-aligned event presence — retail events, trade shows, consumer activations
  • Attend key events as an Anita's brand ambassador

Marketing Materials & Visual Identity

  • Support development of sell sheets, in-store promotional assets, swag, and marketing collateral
  • Contribute to packaging development including design updates and file management
  • Maintain consistency in the look, feel, and emotional expression of the Anita's identity
  • Provide good visual direction and understanding of design fundamentals

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work directly with the General Manager
  • Partner with the National Sales Manager on growth-supporting initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Nature's Path marketing team for strategic alignment, infrastructure support, and shared media resources

What You Bring:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism, PR, digital media, or creative discipline
  • 1–2+ years in marketing, digital content, or brand-driven roles
  • Demonstrated experience growing an engaged digital audience

Technical & Creative Skills

  • Proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest
  • Ability to shoot product and lifestyle photography for digital use
  • Strong writing and grammar with ability to adapt tone for audience
  • Google Suite competence; Adobe Creative Suite experience considered an asset

Personal Qualities

  • Passion for baking, real food, wellness, and the organic lifestyle
  • Warm communicator with a friendly, enthusiastic, authentically human voice
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong project follow-through
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment but comfortable working independently
  • Possesses a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and resourceful approach
  • Access to a vehicle for regional travel

Why This Role Matters:

This is not just “running social media.” This is shaping how a historic Canadian organic brand connects to its community today and tomorrow. You will be entrusted with the craft of communication, the heart of the brand, and the authentic voice of Anita's.
