We make better‑for‑you sparkling drinks with bold refreshing flavors with real gut‑health benefits. We’re launching in Texas and expanding into key U.S. cities, building a community of health‑conscious consumers who refuse to compromise on taste or function.

The Role

As we scale, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Brand Marketing Coordinator to not only analyze performance but also execute our marketing strategy and calendar, bridging insights with real-world implementation. This role blends analytics with action – perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Lead our marketing strategy and execution, drive consumer trial and loyalty, and manage both internal teams and external agency partners to bring Mayawell’s story to life in retail, on‑premise & e-commerce channels.

Purpose

The Marketing Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving brand growth, executing the marketing plan, and ensuring Mayawell’s presence is strong in-market. This role requires someone who is analytical yet execution-focused, equally comfortable behind a spreadsheet and in the field, spotting opportunities and making things happen. Enhancing consumer engagement through innovative marketing strategies while ensuring alignment with the company’s core values and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Strategic Execution

o Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales and Leadership team to execute the annual business plan and marketing calendar. Design and implement consumer campaigns across diverse channels, including digital, social media, and in-store promotions. Lead social media strategy and community programs. Manage marketing material production, working with local Austin vendors. Support trade marketing initiatives with our commercial teams.

· Analytics & Insights

o Analyze brand performance metrics including retail velocities and promotional ROI. Find growth opportunities and recommend solutions. Track campaign results and optimize marketing spend.

o Stay ahead of market trends and consumer preferences to inform and inspire future marketing strategies.

· Field Work

o Visit retail stores regularly to assess competition, promotions, product placement, and retail execution opportunities. Report observations to marketing and sales teams. Help coordinate point-of-sale activations and retail campaigns. Partner with Field Sales to share brand updates and gather feedback.

o Bring energy, curiosity, and “spark” to the role – actively engaging with the market and embodying the brand.

· Partnerships

o Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams. Manage relationships with advertising, PR, media, and promotional agencies. Build connections across Sales, Supply Chain, Planning and field teams. Ensure marketing programs launch on time and deliver results.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

· Minimum 2 - 4 years’ experience in CPG, beverage or retail.

· Strong analytical skills with proven ability to turn insights into action

· Hands-on execution experience in marketing campaigns and retail activations.

· Passion for consumer-centric marketing, with a strong grasp of brand management.

· Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and influence decision-making at all levels.

· Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing agency partnerships to achieve exceptional results.

· Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is highly desirable, enabling effective communication with our diverse consumer base. Experience with early-stage or high-growth brands. Willing to travel to retail markets about 25–30% of the time.

First Year Goals

Months 1-3: Launch Preparation

Prepare all marketing materials, campaigns, and trade show assets for our Expo West debut, our biggest brand moment of the year. Build relationships with agency partners and internal teams. Set up tracking systems for retail velocity and campaign performance. Everything you do supports our goal of reaching $1.0 MM in revenue by year-end.

Month 4-6: Market Expansion and Summer Push

Drive velocity targets and new door opening across Texas and Southern California to accelerate toward our $1.0 MM revenue goal. Execute our summer campaign to build brand momentum during peak beverage season. Begin developing the innovation pipeline calendar for 2027.

Months 7-12: Scale and 2027 Prep

Continue optimizing marketing programs based on velocity data and market feedback. Prepare sales decks and marketing materials for 2027 retailer pitches and new door acquisitions. Support the commercial team with compelling brand storytelling and performance proof points as we close out the year hitting our revenue milestone.
