We are seeking a hands-on Print Production Specialist to oversee and execute all aspects of digital print production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of projects, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure smooth operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining digital printing equipment, ensuring the highest quality output, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility is to operate multiple digital printers and ensure that all jobs are produced accurately.
  • Utilize our online-based homegrown workflow to complete printing jobs, perform finishing tasks, and manage shipping.
  • Complete finishing tasks such as bindary and cutting.
  • Organize and manage multiple activities and tasks concurrently.
  • Package completed jobs and prepare products for shipping.
  • Utilize EFI - Fiery Command WorkStation to send jobs to press.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain digital presses and finishing equipment.
  • Operate digital printing equipment, including Konica Minolta presses.
  • Monitor print jobs to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet tight deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Digital Press Operator.
  • Prior experience with Konica digital press is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of EFI - Fiery Command WorkStation.
  • Strong understanding of digital printing processes, including layout, imposition, color adjustments, image shift, and paper types.
  • Strong reading, writing, and general communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Dependable, persistent, and tenacious.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
  • Comfortable with a Mac and PC environment.
  • Able to lift paper cartons and stand for several hours at a time.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week
