Serve as the IT leader & principal IT business parter responsible for developing and governing enterprise solution architecture and technology platforms across Canadian operations, ensuring seamless integration, operational excellence, and alignment with business priorities.

Knowledge and Experience

Required

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in IT, with at least 10 years in software engineering leadership roles.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in designing, deploying and supporting mid-scale e-commerce platform in support of CAD $100-500M business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing geographically dispersed teams in support of 24x7x365 environment.
  • Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture, cloud platforms, and cloud-native architecture best practices.
  • Experience in transportation, manufacturing, inventory/procurement, with B2B/B2C retail capabilities.
  • TOGAF, Zachman, or similar EA certifications.
  • Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, PCI-DSS and CIS Controls.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing traditional waterfall, agile and modern day CD/CI engineering methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure/Fabric, AWS, and AI/ML/BI solutions
  • Experience with SAP, MSFT D365, JDE, UKG

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategy & Governance
  • Service as Digital Solutions business Partner to Canadian leadership team enabling digital solutions to address identified and emerging business needs.
  • Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies, standards, and processes within North American digital solutions framework.
  • Lead geographically dispersed teams including architects and technical professionals to assure performance of technology in alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of service-oriented architecture models, system diagrams, and process flows.
  • Develop and maintain 3-year Canadian digital roadmap within the regional and group digital framework and roadmap.
  • Business Processes & Solutions
  • Integrate Keolis-owned and client-provided digital solutions to maximize operational efficiency and interoperability.
  • Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and budget for EA initiatives.
  • Oversee ERP/CRM/HR/EAM system lifecycle, including modernization and annual validation tests.
  • Collaborate with business IT leaders to translate requirements into the appropriate e-commerce platform / transit solutions to support the business expansion and sustainment activities.
  • Responsible for coordinating with other internal support organizations and external vendors to provide IT services to all Canadian contracting and business development efforts.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Support implementation of cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment with NIST CSF and other standards.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and assessments for compliance and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Operational Support
  • Provide 24x7x365 Tier 3 engineering support and Tier 2 desk side support for business operational disruptions and cyber incidents.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for requirement gathering, design reviews, and delivery approvals.
  • Collaborate with other internal support organizations and external vendors to provide IT services to all Canadian contracting efforts.
  • Travel as required (up to 35%) for mobilization, deployment, and sustainment of services.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to wider North American and Global digital solutions community, sharing case studies, good practice and participating in wider projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a repository of architecture decisions and artifacts.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for improvement and modernization.
  • Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of performance continuous improvement.
