Social Media Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and growing the brand’s social media presence while creating and publishing content. This role will plan the content calendar, capture and edit photo and video, write social copy, support launches and events, engage with the community, and track performance across social platforms. The position may require travel to cheer competitions, events, and brand activations, including occasional evenings and weekends.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Plan and manage the social media content calendar.
• Capture iPhone photo and video at cheer competitions, events, product shoots, and brand activations for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Edit and publish content, including same-day event coverage when needed.
• Write captions and short-form social copy.
• Monitor social media trends relevant to cheer, sports, collectibles, and trading card games.
• Support product launches, campaigns, partnerships, and live events.
• Engage with the Hit Zero TCG community across social platforms.
• Track social media performance and use analytics to improve content.
• Organize and maintain photo, video, and content files.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience creating social media content for an established brand or organization.
• Strong photo, video, and short-form content creation skills.
• Proficiency with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced event environments.
• Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Full-time availability for in-office work in DFW.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in sports, entertainment, gaming, collectibles, or consumer brands.
• Knowledge of All Star Cheer.
• Experience launching or growing a new brand.

Compensation

• Starting at $65,000/yr
