Social Media Manager

Biohack-it

Role Overview

BMG is looking for a Social Media Manager to own social and audience growth across the

Biohack-It ecosystem. The scope covers three Instagram channels (Iman Hasan's personal

channel, Biohack-It, and Biohack-It Media Group), plus TikTok, the Broadcast Channel, the

community that sits around all of them, and the analytics layer that ties it together.

This is a hands-on, outcomes-driven role. The Social Media Manager sets the content strategy for

each channel, builds and runs the publishing calendar, turns the Group's existing assets (podcast

episodes, events, creator content) into high-performing short-form content, stands up the reporting,

and designs the paths that move an audience from discovery into the community, the shows and

the events.

Editorial and show strategy for the podcast (topics, guests, bookings, episode performance) sits with

the founder and the show team. This role does not own it. What this role does own is everything that

happens once content exists: how it is packaged, distributed, promoted and converted across

social, and how the audience is grown and retained.

The role carries direct team management responsibility over the social, design and content

execution team, and sits close to the founder, working with Iman on voice, positioning and creative

direction.

The Three Instagram Channels

The role owns three Instagram channels. They share an audience but not a job, and the first test of

this hire is whether they can hold three distinct voices without letting the channels collapse into

each other.

Iman Hasan

The personal channel and the most important growth asset in the

Group. Point of view, health and longevity commentary, behind the

scenes from the show and the events, reaction to what is happening in

the space. The job of this channel is trust and authority in Iman as a

voice, which is what pulls people into everything else.

Biohack-It

The audience-facing home of the podcast and the community.

Episode clips and guest moments, science-backed explainers,

protocols and practical content, community formats and activations.

The job of this channel is to grow the listenership and turn viewers into

a community that shows up.

Biohack-It MediaGroup

The business-facing channel, talking to partners, sponsors, advertisers,

talent and the wider industry. Network and creator news, event

announcements and recaps for ZENOS and the Supper Club, results,

milestones and credibility markers. The job of this channel is

commercial positioning and inbound interest.

● Set the remit, voice, content pillars and posting cadence for each of the three channels, and keep

them distinct in practice, not just on paper

● Decide what belongs where, and set the rules for cross-posting, resharing and collaboration posts

between the three

● Run each channel to its own cadence and its own targets, with a single calendar covering all

three plus TikTok and the Broadcast Channel

● Make sure the three channels pass audience to each other deliberately rather than by accident

Content Strategy & Execution

● Own the social strategy end to end across the three Instagram channels, TikTok and the

Broadcast Channel, so they operate as one system rather than separate feeds

● Run the short-form engine: turn podcast episodes, event footage, creator content and founder

commentary into Reels, carousels, hooks and recurring series built for how each platform actually

behaves

● Brief and direct the editors and designers producing assets, and review output against the

standard before it ships

● Track platform changes, formats and trends, and move the calendar quickly when something is

working

● Run a consistent testing loop on hooks, formats and posting times, and roll the results back into

the calendar

Founder-Led Content & Brand Voice

● Grow Iman Hasan's personal channel as a distinct audience, with its own content approach,

cadence and voice

● Build a light, repeatable capture process that gets founder content made without eating the

founder's calendar: batched shoots, prompt lists, voice notes turned into posts, reactive

commentary on live news

● Work with Iman on positioning and creative direction, and translate that direction into a concrete

content plan the team can execute

● Protect the founder channel from becoming a second brand feed, and the brand channels from

sounding like a person

● Support the Biohack-It Network creators on channel and packaging best practice so the network

presents consistently

Community Building & Audience Development

● Turn passive followers and listeners into active participants, with community treated as a growth

channel rather than a by-product

● Design engagement loops across the feeds, comments, DMs and the Broadcast Channel, and

make sure someone is actually running them day to day

● Build recurring community rituals and formats (Q&As, drops, challenges, activations) that lift

retention and word of mouth

● Own the response layer: comments, DMs and replies handled at a standard and a speed that

reflects the brand

● Feed what the community is saying back into content, events and partnerships as a standing

input

Data, Analytics & Performance

  • Own analytics and reporting across all three Instagram channels, TikTok and the Broadcast
  • Channel
  • Build and maintain a single performance dashboard, broken out by channel, with clear KPIs and
  • updated on a fixed cadence rather than on request
  • Track content performance, audience growth and behaviour channel by channel, and the
  • revenue attributable to social
  • Produce a short written read on performance each month: what worked, what did not, what
  • changes next, in plain numbers
  • Run continuous testing and feed the findings back into the content calendar and the plan for
  • each channel
  • Provide the show and events teams with the social data they need, without taking ownership of

their reporting

Events & Experiences Integration

  • Work with the events team so ZENOS, the Supper Club series and other experiences are fully
  • integrated into the social ecosystem
  • Run the social campaign around each event across the relevant channels: announcement, build,
  • ticket push, on-the-day coverage and post-event follow-through
  • Design pre- and post-event content that converts attendees into followers, listeners and repeat
  • guests rather than one-off ticket buyers
  • Plan content capture at events so every experience produces a bank of assets the channels can
  • use for months afterwards
  • Support sponsor and partner visibility on social where it forms part of a commercial commitment,
  • working to what has been sold

Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead the social, design and content execution team: set priorities, run the weekly cadence, review
  • work and hold people to the standard and the deadline
  • Give clear briefs and useful feedback, and develop the team rather than simply absorbing the
  • work
  • Coordinate with production so episode and event assets arrive in a usable state and on a
  • schedule the calendar can rely on
  • Align messaging and timing with the events, partnerships and commercial teams so campaigns
  • reinforce each other instead of competing for the same audience
  • Build the workflows, trackers and handoffs that keep publishing predictable, and document them
  • so the operation does not depend on any one person
  • Work alongside external growth or strategy advisors where they are engaged, and translate their
  • input into execution

AI, Automation & Operational Efficiency

  • Put AI tools and automated workflows to work across content production, distribution and
  • reporting, so output scales without headcount scaling with it
  • Automate the repetitive layer: clipping and captioning, scheduling, dashboard refreshes and
  • routine reporting
  • Keep quality control human: AI speeds up production, it does not set the voice or sign off the work
  • Continuously look for where time is going and remove it

Measures of Success

The role is measured on the growth and commercial contribution of the channels it owns. Targets

are set with the founder at the start of each quarter and reviewed monthly.

AREA WHAT IS MEASURED

Audience growth - Follower growth on each of the three Instagram channels, tracked

separately, plus TikTok

Engagement - Engagement rate, saves, shares and comment volume by channel and

format

Reach - Views and impressions on short-form, and the share of content clearing an

agreed performance floor

Conversion - Social into the Broadcast Channel, podcast listens, event tickets and

partner enquiries

Community - Retention, repeat participation and response times

Operating - Publishing consistency against the calendar, and dashboard delivered on

cadence
