The Search and eCommerce Manager, reporting directly to the Media Director, is responsible for the management, growth and development of our paid search, organic search and ecommerce promotion service offering.
- *WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Oversee and assist in the running of paid and organic search and ecommerce promotion programs
- Main point of client contact for search and ecommerce promotion related topics
- SME for search and ecommerce promotion
- Establish and enforce SEM, SEO, ecommerce promotion best practices
- Own relationships with search and ecommerce platforms (Google, Bing, Amazon)
- Own accesses to search and ecommerce platforms
- Support media plan development, providing recommendations around budget allocation to paid search and ecommerce promotion as well as projections on KPIs for these tactics.
- Participate in the development of search engine marketing (SEM) media plans and media plan proposals for Pharmaceutical, Consumer Healthcare and CPG brands, amongst others.
- Recommend search improvement options for media programs, and push to introduce new search products into existing campaign (e.g. Performance Max)
- Analyse SEO performance of client websites and make tactical recommendations to fuel traffic growth.
- Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimise existing content and uncover new opportunities
- Gather and develop campaign elements for set-up of paid search campaigns (ad text, tracking, keywords, etc)
- Develop search ad copy, as required
- Deploy/upload/traffic SEM campaigns
- Provide insights into search and ecommerce program performance to be included in client reporting
- Supervising, training and developing skills of search and ecommerce team specialists by managing workload, delegating responsibilities and checking work for accuracy
- Assist in scope and time estimation development for search and ecommerce promotion initiatives
- Assist in pitches, where required
- *WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- Experience_
- Previous experience leading development of search strategies and plans
- Previous experience in regulated industries, including pharmaceuticals.
- University degree or college diploma in a related field
- Skills_
- Knowledge of Google Ads (must be Google Ads certified), including SA360, as well as Bing
- Knowledge of Analytics tools (specifically Google Analytics), including setting up of UTM tagging, dashboards and data extraction for reporting
- Knowledge of Google Data Studio
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Creative and innovative in approach
