- *YOUR ROLE**
We are looking for a Digital Operations Specialist to join the eCommerce Sperry team and support with the execution and optimization of our Shopify ecommerce ecosystem. Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, this role will support with day-to-day operations of the website, ensure operational excellence across digital workflows and contribute to the eCommerce performance. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the health of our Shopify storefront, coordinating launches, and enabling efficient, data-driven ecommerce operations.
- Own day-to-day operations of the website, including product setup, pricing, tagging, inventory syncing, and collection management.
- Ensure uptime, responsiveness, and functionality of key Shopify components and 3rd-party app integrations.
- Manage day-to-day merchandising and content operations within the merchandising platform (Bloomreach), ensuring seamless integration with Shopify and consistent execution of navigation, search, and personalized content strategies.
- Collaborate with content, merchandising, and marketing teams to implement on-site SEO best practices, including optimized product titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking—ensuring content is structured to improve organic visibility and search rankings.
- Contribute to end-to-end product catalog updates connected to the PIM, including new product setup, SKU lifecycle transitions, metafield enrichment, and collection optimization.
- Support digital campaign and product launch readiness by managing content uploads, coordinating assets, and ensuring all go-live milestones are met.
- Monitor site health KPIs (site speed, broken links, tagging accuracy) and proactively flag issues.
- Serve as the point of contact for troubleshooting bugs and escalating issues with Shopify support or development partners.
- Own the execution of all website content using Shopify content platform.
- Analyze content engagement and conversion metrics to continuously refine content strategy, site merchandising, and user experience, using tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics & others.
- Recommend and implement data-driven optimizations to site structure, navigation, product merchandising (e.g., cross-sells, upsells, recommendations), and dynamic content placements using Shopify-compatible tools and apps.
- *DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?**
- 2+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, digital marketing, digital product management or an ecommerce role.
- Experience with Shopify, including metafields and app ecosystem.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with content management systems and technology solutions
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven ecommerce environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from conception to completion, involving multiple stakeholders and in-line with a strategic vision
- Good analytical skills, experience in data analysis considered an asset
- Strong communication skills, in English & French; this position requires fluency in both French and English as it involves communication with clients and stakeholders across Canada

Job Requirements
